Wild Bears Sporting Hide And Seek In Odisha's Village
Jeypore: A wild bear along with two of her cubs had strayed into Tankua panchayat under Jeypore block in Koraput distict on Wednesday evening around 7 p.m from the nearby forest area.
The villagers along with the forest officials spotted them and scared them away back to the forest.
Notably, the three bears had come to search for food and had visited the village a fortnight earlier, too. But, they returned back to their forest area due to fear.
There has be no reports of any damage done by the bears.
Following gradual shrinking of forests and sans sufficient food stuff to feed on, the wild bears often sneak into the town putting the villagers on their toes.
