Staff Nurses Allege Sexual Harassment By Doctor
Soro (Balasore): Some female staff nurses of a private nurshing home here on Sunday brought sexual harassment charge against a doctor who is also the owner of the said health centre.
According to reports, six staff nurses of the Basanti Durga nurshing home have lodged a complaint against Srikant Mahapatra at Soro police station here alleging sexual harassment. The lady health care professionals also alleged that the owner is not paying their September month salary.
“We have been working here for the past one month and the owner is not clearing our salary and when we ask him about it he abuses and touches us inappropriately,” said one of the complaints.
