Harassment Allegation: Kavita Mahakud Records Statement In Court

Bhubaneswar: Kavita Mahakud, the woman claiming to be the daughter-in-law of Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud, on Friday recorded her statement before a local court here.

Kavita recorded her statement in presence of a lawyer at the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) here as per Sec 164 of CrPC.

Notably, the woman had filed a harassment case with the Mahila Police against Champua MLA Sanatan Mahakud and his son-in-law Dinabandhu Barik on March 1.
