New Health Minister Struggling To Contain JE Deaths In Malkangiri
Malkangiri: Health Minister Pradip Amat along with Secretary Arati Ahuja and other department officials visited the Japanese Encephalitis affected villages and met the parents of the deceased kin.
The Minister supervised the preventive measures being undertaken by the State and district administration to check the spread of the disease. He will also meet the JE positive patients and their parents and relatives undergoing treatment at the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). He also talked k to the doctors.
Amat said, “The measures that have been taken helped a lot to control the JE menace. Aanganwadi workers and teachers cancelled their leave to help the people affected with JE. We are trying our best to abolish this disease.”
