No Immediate Threat From Cyclone 'Kyant' On Odisha: SRC
Bhubaneswar: There is no immediate threat from cyclone Kyant on Odisha and the maximum impact that could be felt on 27th of October when the cyclone reached North West of Bay of Bengal is that the coastal Odisha may get a wind speed of 55 to 65 kmph.
Briefing media persons on the update of the possible cyclone which now lies near Myanmar and has now recurved North Bay of Bengal, Specail Relief Commissioner- P K Mohapatra has informed that there is no need to panic at all due to cyclone Kyant as the system might not have any impact at all on Odisha and may move towards Bangladesh as per the studies done by IMD.
