Odisha CM’s Marathon Inaugurations In Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur: Keeping in view the upcoming Panchayat polls, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited Jagatsinghpur on Monday to inaugurate slew of projects and laid the foundation stone for a drinking water supply project.

At around 11 am, the BJD supremo arrived here in a chopper at the Nabakrushna stadium. The CM inaugurated several projects including, the Debidala Bridge, Biju Patnaik Sanskruti Bhawan and Library, Skill Development Training Centre, Zilla Sanskruti Bhawan, DIET office and Adarsh Vidyalaya. He also laid the foundation stone for the drinking water supply project meant for Erasama –Balikuda- Nuagaon. The mega Drinking water project would cater to the daily needs of 192 villages as they were deprived of it due to available of saline water in the areas.

Damodar Rout, Minister, Excise and Cooperation said, “This programme is for the economic development of common people and it should not be politicised. Especially I request the media persons to focus on the improvement of people.”

Briefing media, Bishnu Das, Rajya Sabha member and Jagatsinghpur BJD president listed out the projectes inaugurated by the CM on the day in the district.
