Four Filipions Held For Using Banned Satellite Phone In Odisha’s Gopalpur

Gopalpur (Ganajm): Four Philippines nationals were arrested on Sunday by the Marine Police for allegedly using a banned satellite phone to send “secret” messages and photos to other countries from Gopalpur port in Ganjam district.
The arrested persons were identified as Nathaniel A. Faza (38), second officer, Librado P. Jemina (37), chief officer, Eduardo S. Gruspe (46), chief cook and Jescel B. Bautista (34), ordinary seaman had come in a MB Fortune cargo vessel to the Gopalpur Port to take black sands from the Indian Rare Earths Ltd (IREL)
Police later produced the four Filipions before Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court in Chhatrapur, which granted bail.
