Odisha: Minor Tribal Girl Raped Inside Bus In Puri, Accused Held | Odisha News
Puri: In yet another incident that throws light on the scary state of girls in the country, a minor tribal teenager was allegedly raped inside a bus in Puri on Monday night.
As per reports, the girl is a native of Keonjhar and works in Malatipatpur. She had gone home for vacation and was travelling back to her place of work in an AC deluxe bus. The girl fell asleep and missed her stop.
When she woke up, the bus had reached Puri. She panicked as there was no one around. She did not have any relatives in the town and it was already 9 pm. When she started crying, the bus driver and helper asked her to take rest in the bus for the night and leave for Malatipatpur in the morning.
As soon as she agreed and went to sleep in the bus, the helper took advantage of the situation and allegedly raped her. She somehow managed to escape.
