Exclusive: Commissionerate Police Successfully Cracks Cuttack Serial Killings Case, Suspect Held
Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has successfully cracked the case of the serial killings in Cuttack and has held the suspect Narayan Sahoo from Odogaon on Monday morning.
Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty told OMMCOM NEWS, "The suspect of serial killings is in police custody now. He has been held from his native place Odogaon early morning today."
In his press meet, Cuttack DCP Akhilesvar Singh said, "The accused is Narayan Sahoo. He is a resident of Ganjam. Three months back, he came to Cuttack and disappeared after the second murder case. Prima facie we cannot say that he is a psychopath."
It is notable to mention here that three homeless labourers were murdered in Cuttack within two days last week. The modus operandi, circumstances, nature of crime, weapons used and injuries suggested that a psychopath is behind the killings.
