Ganjam: The despicable condition of girl child in the country was highlighted yet again today as body of a newborn girl was found under a bridge near Bharasamathura village in Khallikote area of Ganjam.
Locals spotted the infant lying dead on Kodala National Highway on Monday morning and immediately informed the cops about the incident.
While the body has been recovered, the identity of the deceased or her parents is yet to be established.
