Odisha CM Stresses On Importance Of Education In ‘Ama Mukhymantri Ama Katha’
Bhubaneswar: In a special program ‘Ama Mukhymantri Ama Katha’, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stressed on the importance of education and how it can help in development. This program was held at the Secretariat today morning before the ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ session.
In this program, the BJD supremo discussed several social issues with Panchayat representatives and general audience. During this session, he insisted that education is the current need of the hour as it can bring change in all fields.
He advised all the parents to send their children to school. As an incentive, he added that if all the children from a Panchayat go to schools, that Panchayat will be duly awarded.
On Children’s Day last year, Naveen Patnaik had announced awards for 10th standard children who performed well in Odia subject. He had also declared prize money of Rs 5000 for children who scored good overall marks. Along with that, parents and school teachers were also promised recognition.
