Heavy To Heavy Rainfall On Cards In Odisha: IMD
Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Centre has forecast thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and heavy rain at several districts of Odisha for the next five days starting from June 7. Heavy to heavy rainfall is likely to lash several places of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur and Sambalpur districts on June 9 and June 10.
A warning has been issued against heavy rainfall at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Cuttack from June 7 to June12.
As per the IMD prediction, lightning and heavy rain is likely to occur in Puri, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Balasore, Khurda, Talcher, Boudh, Bhawanipatna, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Kalahandi , Ganjam, Angul and Nayagarh districts.
Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West Bengal.
