'Murdered' Odisha Youth Returns Home After 18 Months While 2 Accused Have Served Jail Term
Bargarh: In one way negligence in criminal investigation while on the other, no less than a miracle for a family, a youth from Pipilipali village under Paikmal police limits here returned home after about 18-month of his murder.
Jeetu Dandsena went missing on December 25, 2016 following which his family members lodged a missing complaint with Paikmal police after they failed to trace him. The police launched an investigation and concluded that Jeetu was murdered.
Acting on the complaint, police had arrested two people, Halu Gula (22) and Raghav Nayak (22) on October 22, 2017 on charges of killing Jitu and had seized Jitu’s mobile phone from the accused duo. The two have now spent about 12 months in jail.
