Group Clash In Odisha’s Ganjam Injures Several Villagers, Many Held
Berhampur: Several persons were injured and some were critical following a group clash at Tadadapalli village under Golanthara police station limits in Ganjam district here Saturday morning.
The reason behind the tension was over past enmity, sources said
As per reports, about 11 persons have sustained injuries and were admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here in the city.
On being informed, Golanthara police rushed to the spot and took stock of the tense situation.
As the clash had witnessed bomb explosion, the police rounded up over 10 persons from both the groups.
Adequate police force has been deployed in the village in a bid to avert any further untoward incidents and also to maintain law and order.
