Day Before Rath Yatra: Devotees Throng Sri Mandir For 'Nabajouban Darshan' Of Holy Trinity
Puri: With less than 24 hours left for the world to witness the grandest celebrations of Rath Yatra, devotees make a beeline here at Jagannath Temple to have ‘Nabajouban Darshan’ of the recuperated Holy Trinity on Friday.
Following the fabulous holy bath on ‘Snana Purnima’, the deities fell ill for a fortnight long. After a special cure, the Holy Trinity emerges for the first time on auspicious occasion of ‘Nabajoubana Darshan’. Lakhs of devotees throng the shrine to get the first glimpse of the deities on this day.
Dasmohapatra servitors on Thursday night adorned the deities as a part of the ‘Banakalagi’ ritual, the preparation before the most special ‘Nabajoubana Darshan’ today.
