Man Hacks Brother To Death In Odisha's Boudh
Boudh: In a fit of rage, a man hacked his elder brother to death while injuring his niece following a property dispute at Jirada village under Purunacuttack police station here on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bibhishan Swain and his injured daughter was identified as Lakhshmi. The accused has been identified as Anand Swain.
According to reports, the incident took place on Saturday evening when Anand’s nephew came to him to talk about something at 2pm in the afternoon. After he left, Anand set for his elder brother and allegedly hacked him with an axe at their backyard. Bibhishan’s daughter sustained grievous injuries while trying to save her father.
