PM Modi Lays Foundation For Talcher Fertilizer Plant’s Revival, Assures Start Of Production In 36 Months
Talcher: Unveiling the plaque to mark the commencement of work for the revival of Talcher Fertilizer Plant in Odisha’s Angul district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the public that the restored Talcher fertiliser plant will start production in 36 months.
He also optimistically said that he would come again after 3 years for the inauguration of this completely revived plant.
The Prime Minister also said, “The local people as well as the people of Odisha had lost hope that the fertiliser plant would be revived. But we did it despite several hurdles as our policy and intention are clear.
He also said that the plant will help create about 4,500 employment opportunity in the region. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in his address thanked the Prime Minister for the Talcher fertiliser plant stating that it was a long-standing demand of the State.
