Patient Administered ‘Expired Injection’, Irate Family Members Change Hospital
Malkangiri: A patient named Gopal Mandal, who was undergoing treatment at MV-19 hospital, was administered expired injection late on Wednesday night, alleged his family members.
According to his attendant, after the doctor prescribed medicine for the patient, he bought them from the nearby medicine store. But both of them were expired.
By the time he noticed the fallacy, the patient was already administered one injection. So the family members and few other locals created ruckus inside the premises demanding action against the medicine store owner.
