Jay Panda’s Controversial Chopper Flying, Cooperative Scam Ruckus Mars Odisha Assembly Monsoon Session
Bhubaneswar: As had it been yesterday, proceedings of the House got disrupted today too soon after it assembled for the day. The ruling BJD members created ruckus over Baijayant Jay Panda’s allegedly illegal chopper flying over the restricted zones of Puri Jagannath Temple, Konark Sun Temple and Chilika Lake and demanded the arrests of both Jay Panda and his friend Abhijit Iyer Mitra.
On the other hand, main opposition Congress raised the ongoing strike of the Cuttack lawyers and BJP members demanded CBI probe into the alleged cooperative scam.
BJD members flaunting banners and shouting slogans against Jay Panda and his friend protested outside the House before the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on the premises.
