PIL Against NGT Restraint On Cuttack Baliyatra Stall Allotment

Cuttack: Aggrieved by the decree of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) restraining the district administration here from allotting sites on Mahanadi river bed (the lower area of Baliyatra ground) for setting up of stalls for the historic Baliyatra from Kartik Purnima day, the Cuttack Nrutyotsav Committee has knocked the doors of the Orissa High Court for justice by filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on Thursday.
