Ahead Of ‘Make In Odisha Conclave’, Cabinet Approves 21 Proposals

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Make in Odisha conclave, the State Government on Tuesday approved 21 proposals including eight polices in a meeting held at State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The State Cabinet cleared Renewable Energy Policy, a first in the country, with approving creation of Odisha Renewable Energy Fund of Rs 250 crore. The State Government will contribute Rs 50 crore per year for five years to the fund. The amount will be used for renewable energy projects.
