Long Queues At Banks For Exchanging Old Rs 500, Rs 1000 Notes

Bhubaneswar: With the opening of banks across the country on Thursday after they remained shut on Wednesday as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)’s directive soon after the demonetisation decree imposed on the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes since Tuesday midnight, anxious people in large number were spotted standing in long queues at banks across Odisha for their turn to exchange or deposit old possessions.
