Congress Leader Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mahapatra Passes Away

Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader and former State Youth Congress President Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mahapatra aka Lulu has passed away on Sunday night following prolonged illness, family sources said.

According to reports, Mohapatra was undergoing treatment at Medanta hospital in Gurugram for over a month and breathed his last at around 10.14 pm on Sunday.

Mohapatra, a senior Congress leader, was 52 years of old and is survived by his wife Namita Mohapatra and one daughter.

Mohapatra’s younger brother Lalitendu Mohapatra who was at the hospital informed about his brother’s death to the media later.
