Long Queue Before Banks Thursday Onwards, Odisha Police Beefs Up Security

Bhubaneswar: Following the demonetisation of the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denomination Indian currency notes by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) from Tuesday (November 8) midnight, panic grips the general public.

However, as the Union Government has made provisions for exchange at all the branches of the Indian banks till December 30, long queues are expected from Thursday (November 10) onwards for which the Odisha Police has woken up to the occasion for smooth transactions
