Cops, Excise Sleuths Obliterate ‘Ganja’ Plants Worth Rs 1 Crore In Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Pursuing its relentless drive against the prohibited hemp (ganja) cultivation in this Maoist-infested tribal-dominated district, the district police on Thursday night wiped out the illegal plants worth Rs 1 crore in Laxmanpur area in the district.

As per police sources, the matured hemp plants were set on fire by the special team of the District Police assisted by the District Excise officials.
