Odisha: Minor Boy Charred To Death In Jharsuguda | Odisha News
Jharsuguda: In a shocking incident, a minor boy who had sustained critical burn injuries died while undergoing treatment today morning in Burla Medical Hospital. The deceased has been identified as 12-year-old Akshay Oram of Chithuapada area here.
Akshay had gone to attend a devotional music program (kirtan) in the village on Sunday evening when someone set him on fire, alleged his family members. Akshay had sustained injuries over 90 per cent of his body and was rushed to Sadar hospital in critical condition.
Later when his condition worsened, Akshay was rushed to Burla Medical Hospital and died while undergoing treatment. Cops are currently probing further into the matter to ascertain the exact reason behind the death.
