Odisha: BSE Cancels English Exam At Three Matric Centres | Odisha News
Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Tuesday cancelled the matriculation exam at three centres in Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Bolangir districts following reports of malpractices.
The board cancelled the English exam at Ghunsar Government High School in Bolangir, PR High School in Dhenkanal and Krupasindhu Nodal High School at Gopinathpur in Cuttack, BSE president, Jahan Ara Begum said.
While 222 students had appeared in the exam at Ghunsar Government High School, 226 gave the exam at PR High School and 227 in Krupasindhu High School.
"Outsiders had an easy access to the exam centre and they were able to crossover the boundary wall freely. We have made a list of sensitive centres and apprised the State police to beef up security," she said.
"If such activities are repeated in any of the centre we would take a strict action against that centre. We will make an assessment during the examination committee meeting to be held soon," she added.
