Odisha CM Announces Ex-Gratia, Govt Job For Kin Of OSAP Jawans Killed In Road Mishap | Odisha News


Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed deep grief over the death of two jawans of OSAP 2nd who died in a road accident today and announced ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to each kin of the deceased.

They jawans have been identified as S Panth and Prasanth Behera. The Chief Minister also announced Government job for the next of the kin.

In an unfortunate road mishap, two police personnel were killed and several others were injured after a police van collided head-on with a truck at Ganhichowk Brajrajnagar under Belpahar police limits here today morning.

Chief Minister also conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families.In addition to that, he also wished speedy recovery of the injured jawans and ordered free treatment. According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), Naveen Patnaik will also visit the injured persons at Burla hospital today. In case of any threatened disability, an ex-gratia of one lakh has been announced.
