Odisha Matric Exam Question Paper Goes Viral: Superintendents, Invigilators Of Four Centres Suspended | Odisha News
Cuttack: Taking cognizance of the Matric exam question paper going viral on social media, Superintendents and Invigilators of four exam centres have been suspended on Friday.
Addressing mediapersons, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Dr Jahan Ara Begum said, while the board had received reports regarding the question paper going viral on social media by 11:45 PM, the truth was established only after end of today's examination at 12:30 PM by scrutinising the paper going viral with the original paper.
As the incident occurred after first part of the paper was over, it was considered as viral question paper and had no impact on the ongoing examination, she added.
Jahan Ara further said that subsequent probe was launched by the Board authorities and it was revealed that the question paper was first made viral from Sudarsan Bidya Bhawan School in Chirulei of Dhenkanal district with the involvement of the Centre Superintendent, Invigilator and students. Disciplinary action such as suspension of the persons involved will be initiated.
While mobile phones had been barred into the examination centres, there has been violation of the norms. Mobile phones have entered the examination hall and photos of the question paper has been taken and sent outside.
