Know How ‘The Three Musketeers’ Helped A Rajasthani Couple By Foiling Loot Bid | Odisha News

Bhubaneswar: The motto of a renowned adventure novel ‘Three Musketeers’- “All for one and one for all” manifested into a real-life incident in capital city on April 23 near Tanishq jewelry store. It sounds no less than an action movie as three men took on a bike-borne looter in the heart of the capital city to help a Rajasthani couple. Read on to find out how the incident unfolded.

After casting his vote, civil engineer Rabi Narayan Behera was on his way back when he saw a looter snatch the vanity bag from a Rajasthani couple. “I was minding my own business when I saw the loot taking place. The couple, unknown to the area, was startled and helpless. Then and there, I decided to chase the miscreant.”

Screaming ‘Chor Chor’ at the top of his lungs, Rabi was soon joined by social workers Sameer and Binod Kumar Pallai, who were conducting a survey to determine the number of slippers to be bought for bare-footed homeless people in the area. The three chased the dacoit till Ravi Talkies and finally intercepted his way. “The person stopped the bike and we immediately took hold of the purse. Then, we shoved him down to the ground,” Binod narrated.
