Elections 2019: Star Campaigners All Set To Woo Voters In Odisha Today | Odisha News


Bhubaneswar: With only five days to go for the first phase polls, Odisha is charged up for the blitzkrieg of election campaigns by star campaigners of three major parties- BJD, BJP and Congress- for today onwards. While Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik is all set to visit Nabarangpur today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing public meetings in Sundergarh and Sonepur as part of BJP's Vijay Sankalp Samabesh.

Before his visit, Modi tweeted, "Results of Odisha Polls 2019 will surprise everyone as BJP will win with a record margin."

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also scheduled to woo voters in Berhampur today. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP national Vice-president Baijayant Panda and senior leader Bijoy Mohapatra will be present with him.

On Sunday (April 7), BJP president Amit Shah will campaign in Ganjam and Bargarh. Further on April 9, Shah will be taking out a roadshow from Singhadwara to Badasankha in Puri. On the same day, Congress president Rahul Gandhi is likely to attend a public meeting at Digapahandi in Ganjam district.
