Odisha: Maoists Attack Road Construction Site In Malkangiri, Supervisor Killed, Vehicles Torched | Odisha News
Malkangiri: After few days of silence, the red rebels have made their presence felt in the tribal-dominated Malkangiri district here early today morning.
Reportedly, the Maoists attacked a road construction site in Kukurakunda village here under Temurpali area and allegedly killed the supervisor. According to sources, as many as 20 Maoists torched a JCB truck and a Hyva tractor in the site and then went on to hack supervisor Gupta Swain to death.
While a police complaint has been launched in this regard at Mathili police station, locals suspect that this is work of Maoists in Bastar division.
