Nabarangpur: In a shocking incident, a young couple was found hanging from a tree in Chataguda village under Umerkote police limits here today morning.
The deceased have been identified as Indra Gond and Sushila Kalar. The locals spotted the lovebirds hanging from a tree near the village pond using the girl's duppatta.
According to sources, the couple took the extreme step of committing suicide after their family members refused to their marriage as the boy is from a tribal community. While villagers started gathering in the area, cops reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem.
