7 Killed In Separate Road Mishaps Across Odisha | Odisha News
Sundergarh: As many as seven persons were killed in four different road mishaps that took place late last night or early today morning in Sundergarh, Dhenkanal, Balasore and Bhadrak.
In Sundergarh, four persons including three women were killed after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck from behind near Jarangaloi village under Bargaon block late last night.
The deceased have been identified as Sajjan Agarwal, Urmila Devi, Nirmala Devi and Sangeeta Agarwal. Reportedly, the mishap took place when the four were returning to Biramitrapur after attending a bhanjan programme in Sambalpur. While driver of the car fled the scene after the mishap, cops reached the spot and began a probe into the matter.
In Dhenkanal, one person was killed after his two-wheeler met with an accident with a bus near Caltex area under Town police limits. The deceased has been identified as Kailash Chandra Pradhan of Parjang block. Cops reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem and seized the bus.
