Minor Girl Seriously Injured In Firing At Odisha's Jeypore | Odisha News
Koraput: In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old girl sustained serious injuries after receiving a bullet injury here on Friday.
The incident occurred at Jeypore's Kiabandha Sahi when, the girl in question, was coming out of the washroom in her house. According to reports, her father, K Satyanarayana, who was present at home, was also injured with the same bullet.
The girl was profusely bleeding, while Satyanarayana sustained injuries on his earlobe. The two were first taken to Jeypore hospital from where, the minor girl was shifted to Koraput district headquarters hospital.
The minor's condition is stated to be critical as she received the shot on her chest. The incident sparked tension in the tribal dominated area. The irate locals also damaged vehicles protesting the serious incident.
