Dussehra Hues: Worldwide Monuments Replicated In Bhubaneswar To Woo Puja Revellers
Bhubaneswar: When the whole country is gripped with the festive fever of Durga Puja, the artisans of the pandals in Bhubaneswar are busy giving last minute touches to showcase their finesse and artistry to the revelers. This year, the different Puja Committees have built different heritage structures showcasing various themes, which has made this Dussehra very appealing to the visitors.
Saheed Nagar Puja Mandap
The 70-feet high and 120 feet wide Saheed Nagar Durga Mandap is inspired by the Padmavati palace of Chittorgarh,and is a replica of the Chittor fort in Rajasthan.
One of the major attraction of this pandal is the ‘Meena Bazaar’ and the ‘Giant Wheel’. The other attractions are the Chandi Medha (silver backdrop) for the goddess.and 100 gms of gold jewellery to be adorned by the idol.
