Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Bags SKOCH Swastha Bharat Gold Award | Odisha News


Bhubaneswar: Odisha's flagship healthcare scheme, Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) has bagged the prestigious 'SKOCH Swastha Bharat Gold Award' at a function held at Delhi on Friday.

Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Dr Pramod Ku Meherda and State Health Assurance Agency CEO, Shalini Pandit received the award today.

Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana is a scheme of Government of Odisha, which aims to provide universal health coverage, with special emphasis on the health protection of economically vulnerable families.

Under BSKY, free health services for all in all state government health care facilities starting from Sub center level up to district headquarter hospital level with Swasthiya Mitras deployed at help desk.

BSKY offers annual health coverage of Rs 5 lakhs per family and Rs 10 lakhs per women members of the family.
