5 Class X Students Go Missing In Gajapati, Search Underway | Odisha News
Parlakhemundi: Five Class-X students went missing on Saturday from Jangalapadu village under Gurandi Police limits of Gajapati district.
The five have been identified as Kanha Nayak (15), Vikram Jena (14), Soni Jena (14), Chinmaya Jena (15), and Damburu Nayak(15), said Police report. They all studied in different schools but hailed from Jangalapadu village.
Yesterday morning, these five made varied excuses and started from their homes. Some used the excuse to visit school while some said they wanted to snack. When by evening the teens did not return, the parents filed a Missings Report at the Gurandi Police station.
It is suspected that the kids might have met at a pre-decided spot and absconded from there. The family or the Police are yet to ascertain a cause behind such an action.
