Odisha: Schools In 6 Districts Closed Due To Incessant Rains | Odisha News
Bhubaneswar: All schools and Anganwadi centres in six districts of Cuttack, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal and Kendrapada have been closed on Thursday due to incessant rains induced due to low pressure over the Bay of Bengal.
Additionally, a Yellow Alert has been issued for 20 other districts of the State by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The district administrations have asked to keep an eye on the situation and take necessary action. Also the fishermen have been advised to not venture out into the sea.
