Notorious Criminal Muna Nabbed After Police Encounter In Cuttack | Odisha News
Cuttack: In second encounter within 24 hours, yet another dreaded criminal was arrested after a faceoff with Choudwar Police on Choudwar-Dhabaleswar road on early Monday morning.
The accused Shyam Dehury alias Muna (24) who hails from Dhenkanal was involved in a robbery undertaken on September 24. It had resulted in one person’s death who had succumbed to bullet injuries inflicted by Muna.
Upon receiving information of Muna’s exact location, Choudwar Police apprehended him, said Chudwar Police’s press note. Muna fired shots at the Police and in an exchange of fire the accused received bullet injuries on his left leg
The dreaded criminal was nabbed and shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Sub-Inspector Partha Beura too sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment, mentioned the press note.
