Odisha: Tusker Electrocuted To Death In Dhenkanal
Dhenkanal: In a flashback to the October tragedy last year when seven jumbos were electrocuted to death, a similar incident occurred today when a tusker carcass was found in Dudurkote jungle under Hindol Range here.
According to reports, the tusker became a victim to the electrical traps laid by poachers. Locals said that several jumbos have lost their lives in the same spot over the past few months.
Due to delay in forest officials reaching the spot, locals expressed anger and grief over their negligence on the matter.
