Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik To Inaugurate Slew Of Projects In Mayurbhanj
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate 11 public welfare projects, lay foundation stone of six others and address a 'Mission Shakti' convention during his visit to Mayurbhanj district today.
The projects to be inaugurated include four bridges, two girls' hostel, a public health centre, three piped water supply projects and a government building. Besides, he will lay foundation stones of two bridges, two piped water supply projects, one irrigation project and one river boundary wall project.
Patnaik will distribute seed money of Rs 15,000 each to 20,295 Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) at the 'Mission Shakti' convention at Chhau Padia in Baripada.
Further, he will distribute Rs 25 lakh each to 26 block-level federations, Rs 3,000 each to 39,418 WSHGs to digitally empower women and Rs 49 crore in total to WSHGs and federations in Mayurbhanj district.
