Man Beheaded While Sleeping In Odisha’s Sambalpur | Odisha News
Sambalpur: In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants allegedly beheaded a person and fled with the head while he was sleeping outside his home at Tileimal village under Ainthapali police limits here on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified Satyanarayan Munda.
“He was sleeping inside a mosquito net outside his house last night. In the morning, his family members spotted Munda’s headless body and informed the cops about it,” informed Bhawani Shankar Udgata, SDPO, Sambalpur.
Though the reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected to be a fallout of past enmity. Meanwhile, cops along with scientific team and dog squad have reached the spot and are further probing into the matter.
