‘Flood Hazard Atlas of Odisha’ Released, CM Dubs It Beneficial To Flood Management & Focus On Susceptible Spots
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today released ‘Flood Hazard Atlas of Odisha’ in the Chief Minister’s Conference Room in presence of Ministers and Secretaries of Cooperation, Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Revenue & Disaster Management, Water Resources, Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, SRC and Chief Engineer of Flood Control.
Presiding over the State Level Committee on Natural Calamities in Conference Hall No.3 near R.D. Department, the Chief Minister said that flood has been a regular natural calamity and every year it has been causing loss to life, property and livelihood.
