PM Modi To Visit Odisha Today, Here Is His Itinerary


Bhubaneswar: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha today, here is the tentative tour programme for the day.

As per the schedule received by Odisha Government form New Delhi, PM Modi is slated to depart Delhi airport at 11.05 am by Indian Air Force (IAF) flight and reach Bhubaneswar airport at 1:05 pm.

At Bhubaneswar airport he will be received by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and then he will fly to the Bhubaneswar Helipad. From the helipad, he will travel by road to IIT Bhubaneswar campus in Argul and reach the programme venue at 1:40 pm. Till 2:20 pm, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several projects in the State worth Rs 14, 523 crore. These include laying foundation stones for Indian Oil's Paradip-Hyderabad product pipeline project and GAIL's Bokaro-Angul Pipeline project.

PM Modi will also break ground for six laning of Chandikhole-Bhadrak section of NH-5 (New NH-16), Khandagiri flyover, 4 laning of Cuttack-Angul section of NH-42 and 6/4 laning of Tangi-Puintola section of NH-5.

He will also issue Paika Rebellion commemorative stamp and coin, establish Buxi Jagabandhu Research chair at Utkal University, inaugurate Archaeological Museum in Lalitgiri and dedicate IIT Bhubaneswar to the nation. He will also inaugurate the ESI hospital that has been upgraded from 50 to 100 beds.
