Gangster Tito's Associate Budhia Das Injured In Police Encounter In Cuttack | Odisha News
Cuttack: Hardcore criminal Budhia Das (28), an associate of gangster Tito alias Syed Usman Ali Khan, was injured in an encounter with Commissionerate Police in Cuttack in the wee hours of Wednesday.
As per police sources, acting on a tip off about the presence of Budhia, a team led by IIC of Chauliaganj Police Station had conducted a raid at CDA Sector-13 near NLU.
During the raid the accused opened fire on the raiding party constraining police to open one round of fire in exercise of right to private defense.
In the exchange of fire, one police personnel Biswajit Samantray sustained injuries. The accused Budhia was injured in the exercise following which police apprehended him and admitted him to SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack.
