Drone To Monitor BBSR Traffic, 'No Overtaking Zone' Between Rabindra Mandap & Airport | Odisha News
Bhubaneswar: In a bid to streamline the increasing traffic congestion in State capital city here, new Police Commissioner of Twin City Sudhanshu Sarangi informed on Monday that drone camera will monitor the movement of vehicles.
The area between Rabindra Mandap and Biju Patnaik International Airport will be made No Overtaking Zone. Drone will monitor and regulate this. Drivers are required to maintain lane-driving. Strict action will be taken against drivers caught flouting rules," he said.
Notably, newly appointed Traffic DCP of Bhubaneswar Sagarika Nath had informed on Sunday that Police Commissioner and senior officers were working on a strategy to ease the traffic congestion and related problems of the Capital City.
