Woman Clears Odisha Matric Exam With Son, Proves Age No Bar For Education | Odisha News
Bhubaneswar: A tribal woman from Malkangiri district of Odisha has proved that age is no bar for education by clearing the Annual HSC Examination 2019 along with her eldest son.
Basanti Muduli, a resident of Tarlakota-C colony in Korukonda block of the district had left her studies after being married off at a young age, but she had not given up her love for studies.
While working as an anganwadi worker and managing the house, she made proper use of her free time to study the books of her son Sibananda and prepared herself for the board exams.
She not only appeared for the examination but cleared it, for which she was lauded by her family members and villagers. She has expressed to continue her studies if given support.
