Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited results of Odisha Assembly Elections-2019 were declared today after the marathon counting of votes polled for the 146 Vidhan Sabha (Assembly) seats in four phases within the span of April 11 and April 29.
While Odisha Assembly has total 147 seats, election to the Patkura Assembly Constituency (under Kendrapada Parliamentary Constituency) had been deferred to May 19 following the sad demise of BJD candidate Bed Prakash Agarwalla and later by two months owing to Cyclone FANI.
The BJD won 112 seats, BJP won 23, Congress 9 and Others won 2 seats in the Odisha Assembly.
