Rourkela: Tension gripped one of the top engineering colleges of Odisha after a student of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela was found dead in the hostel verandah.
The deceased student Sayeed Munib Ahmad reportedly hails from Bhubaneswar and is second year student in Integrated Masters in Science (MSc) course.
Students and other batch-mates spotted the body in the verandah of M.S.Swaminathan hostel and were shocked. They immediately informed the authorities, following which cops reached the spot and began a probe into the matter.
